Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2021 and grant waiver of the license fee for the period from 24.03.2020 to 06.09.2020 and to reduce revise and re-fix the license fee in a manner proportionate with the opening time permitted for the period from 07.09.2020 onwards for the Municipal Shop No.30, Central Bus Stand, Udumalpet Municipality.

O R D E R

The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, made a submission that the cause aroused for filing of the present writ petition did not exist and has became vanished.

2.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the deposit amount is to be refunded. In this regard, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authority and the authority may consider the eligibility of the petitioner for refund and initiate action accordingly as expeditiously as possible.

3.With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
