ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to furnish the proceedings and entire Award Copy to the Petitioner in respect of petitioner's land.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, a representation was made by the petitioner, requesting the respondents to refer the matter to LAOP Court for enhancement of compensation and also for serving a copy of award. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.

3. On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the entire award amount was already deposited in the Account of the Principal District Court as early as on 08.03.2024. Further, a copy of the award was already served on the petitioner on 21.03.2023. Hence, he requests this Court for dismissal of this petition.

4. In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the award copy was served, no reference was made for enhancement of compensation after the filing of representation dated 10.07.2022. Hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

6. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to refer the award to LAOP Court, for enhancement of award amount, as requested by the petitioner, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
