ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the orders of this Court.

2. The Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department has given written instructions dated 16.6.2016 to the learned Additional Government Pleader, in which, in paragraphs 4 to 6 it is stated as follows :

"In view of the above report, the

Government in the reference 5th cited has requested the Transport Commissioner to furnish the details regarding number of road accident victims attended the golden hour and numbers of lives saved by Sri Sakthi Hospital after 11.8.2011 to till date (i.e year wise and centre wise details) and also requested the Transport Commissioner to inspect the Emergency Accident Relief Centres maintained by the Sri Sakthi Hospital, Tirunelveli again and send the inspection report to Government immediately. The report of the Transport Commissioner is awaited.

In view of the position stated above, it will take some considerable time to pass orders on the petitioner's request regarding converting fully sponsored Emergency Accident Relief Centres.

I am therefore to request you to apprise above facts to the Hon'ble High Court and move the Court to get three months time to pass order on the Hon'ble High Court order dated 27.2.2015 in W.P.No.30596 of 2014. I am to request you to send your report in this regard to Government early.

"

3. In the light of the above, the respondent/contemner is granted three months' time to comply with his undertaking as given and recorded above.

4. With this observation and direction, the contempt petition is closed.
