ORDER

Alleging that the order dated 04.04.2017 passed by this Court in W.P.No.7862 of 2017 has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the award amount has been deposited with the second respondent. Therefore, there is no impediment for the petitioners to receive the amount. Sofar as the interest component is concerned, already a communication dated 22.01.2018 was sent by the Commissioner for Employees Compensation II/Joint Commissioner of Labour II, Chennai to the Tahsildar, Thiruporur.

3.In such view of the matter, the second respondent is directed to handover the amount deposited already in favour of the petitioners on the petitioners approaching the said respondent and making a request. Insofar as the interest is concerned, the Tahsildar, Thiruporur Taluk is directed to initiate action against the fourth respondent in the writ petition viz., the management of Thirumurugan Modern Rice Mill, Kunnapattu Village, Chengalpattu and conclude the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observation and direction, the contempt petition stands closed.
