Mr.J.Purushothaman, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the appeal petition dated 19.12.2018, wherein and whereby, he sought for restoration of the name of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner's Madam viz., "Nainar Adiyaar Madam" in the Town Survey Records.

This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents 1 & 2 to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents 1 & 2 to dispose of the appeal dated 19.12.2018 filed by the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents 1 & 2 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
