The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.02.2024, registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323,392,397,307 and 506(ii) of I.P.C in crime No.100 of 2024 seeks bail.

2.The learned Government Advocate stated that the petitioner has been detained under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. He has also produced the copy of the order passed by the District Collector and District Magistrate Kancheepuram District, Kancheepuram vide detention order in No.36/2024/M6-D.O.No.06 of 2024 on 27.02.2024. 3.In view of the fact that the petitioner has been detained under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
