Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the second respondent to produce the person of detenu minor Girl Dhaneeswari who is under illegal detention of the 3rd respondent and direct that she be set at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.] This petition has been filed by the petitioner / cousin of the detenue / Dhaneeswari, aged about 15 years, to cause production of her cousin, before this Court and to set her at liberty.

2. The alleged detenue / minor Dhaneeswari is secured and produced before this Court by the respondent police along with an infant baby. The mother / Jamuna Rani of the detenue is also before us.

3. On enquiry, the detenue said that she is aged about 17 years and there is no illegal detention by anybody and she expressed her willingness to go along with her mother, who is present before us.

4. Recording the submission made by the alleged detenue that there is no illegal detention by anybody, this petition is closed as nothing further remains to be considered in this petition.
