O R D E R

This petition has been filed challenging the proceedings in C.C.No.225 of 2021 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate - V, Coimbatore.

2.The matter pertains to the protest that was conducted against CAA, NCR and NPR. The State Government took a decision to withdraw all the cases that were registered with respect to this protest. G.O.(Ms) No.368, dated 04.09.2021 was also passed in this regard.

3.Pursuant to the above G.O., almost all cases were dropped/ withdrawn. The present case will also come within the same category and hence no useful purpose will be served in keeping the proceedings pending.

4.In the result, the proceedings in C.C.No.225 of 2021, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate - V, Coimbatore, is quashed and 2/4
