ORDER

The petitioner / wife seeks transfer of O.P.160 of 2024 pending on the file of the Family Court, Krishnagiri, to the file of the Subordinate Court, Salem.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that she is residing in her parents' house along with her two children and has no independent source of livelihood. He further submitted that the husband has filed a petition for

divorce. The petitioner also states that one of the children is suffering from a medical ailment. Therefore, she seeks transfer of the proceedings to the Subordinate Court, Salem.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court finds the reasons stated to be justifiable and is inclined to allow the transfer.

4. Accordingly, O.P.160 of 2024 pending on the file of the Family Court, Krishnagiri, is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Subordinate Court, Salem. The learned trial Judge is directed to issue notice to the respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter proceed with the matter in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 01-06-2026 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes rri
