This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent Police to register the complaint preferred by the petitioner dated 5.11.2013.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint is of the year 2013 and the respondent police could not trace the same, and hence the petitioner may be directed to furnish copy of the complaint dated 5.11.2013, on which the respondent police will take appropriate action. 4.

In view of the said submission, the petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the complaint dated 5.11.2013 before the second respondent and on such furnishing of complaint, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, and during the course of the enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1. The Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above directions.
