ORDER

This Arbitration Original Petition has been filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, to adjudicate the disputes arising out of the Memorandum of understanding dated 31.07.2024 entered into between the petitioners and the Respondents.

2. Heard Mr.Anupam Raghuraman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.S.Krishnan, learned Senior Counsel, for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the respondents had also expressed his consent for appointment of Arbitrator.

4. From a reading of the Invoice based Memorandum of Understanding dated 31.07.2024 entered to between the petitioners and the respondents, it could be seen that the parties have agreed to resolve the disputes by appointing an Arbitrator.

5. In view of the consent that has been expressed by the learned counsel appearing on either side, I am inclined to appoint Justice Thiru.N.Paul Vasanthakumar, Retired Judge of Madras High Court, having address at "ASHIRVADH", No.24-A, II Street, Kamaraj Avenue, Adayar, Chennai -

600 020, (Landline No: 044-24452817) as Sole Arbitrator to enter upon the dispute between the petitioner and the respondents. 6.

The learned Sole Arbitrator is entitled to fix his fees as per the Schedule-IV of the Act. This Court further requests the learned Sole Arbitrator to endeavour to decide the dispute as expeditiously as possible, however, not later than six(6) months from the date of his entering into reference.
