ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed under Writ of CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS, to call for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka. 543/2020/Sa.Pa, dated 25.06.2020 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service along with back wages, attendant benefits and other monetary benefits to the petitioner.

2. Heard, Ms.B.Hemalatha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has approached this Court without exhausting the alternate remedy available to him.

4. However, it is learnt from the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has filed this writ petition without giving any representation to the government to review the order of the 1st respondent dated 25.06.2020.

5. In such a case, the petitioner is at liberty to make a representation to the government to review the order passed by the 1st respondent in his proceedings vide Na.Ka. 543/2020/Sa.Pa, dated 25.06.2020 with regard to the quantum of 2/4

punishment. In the event that the petitioner gives any representation to the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Department of Cooperation, Food, and Consumer Protection Department, Secretariat, Chennai 600 009, and receives it, the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Department of Cooperation, Food, and Consumer Protection Department, Secretariat, Chennai 600 009, shall consider and pass an appropriate order on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
