O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 25.03.2017 made by the petitioner herein.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that he made an application on 19.02.2016 for running a canteen for the day scholar students and as per the Student Association to have a separate canteen for the day scholar. Now, the petitioner has been asked to vacate the premises since it was not extended after 31.03.2017. In these circumstances, the petitioner gave a representation seeking for extension of time, however, according to the petitioner, the 1st respondent has not considered the same yet.

3.Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2017 in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
