This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to for the records of the fifth respondent i.e., Panchayat President, Peruvangur Panchayat culminating in circular dated 22.11.2012 with regard to subject No.85/20122013 and quash the same and further direct the fifth respondent to conduct an interview to fill up the Panchayat Secretary post in the fifth Page No.2 of 5

respondentPanchayat.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on earlier occasion i.e., on 08.02.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Court has directed the Registry to list the case on 12.02.2024 under the caption "For Dismissal".

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, it is crystal clear and evident that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case and this Court has no other option except to dismiss this writ petition for non prosecution.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
