The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry without following the due process of law.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents would submit that on the complaint given by one Mallika, mother of the petitioner that her married daughter is found missing, a case in Crime No.4 of 2022 has been registered under the caption "Women Missing". The respondents are on search for the petitioner whereas, she had given a complaint as if the respondents are harassing her. The respondents understand that the petitioner is a married women with two grown up sons and she has left the matrimonial home on her will and the respondents https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

are not harassing her. However, in order to close the women missing case, she has to appear before the respondent.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent and give her statement.
