The petitioner has filed this writ petition to call for the records of the first respondent herein in connection his proceedings in dated 03.10.2012 promoting the fourth respondent as P.G.Assistant (English) and to quash the same and direct the first respondent herein to promote the petitioner herein to the post of P.G.Assistant (English) in C.S.I. Boys Higher Secondary School,

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has passed away on 28.11.2023. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication and he Page No.2 of 5

has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.
