O R D E R

The wife seeks transfer of IDOP No.701 of 2021 filed by the husband before the V Additional Family Court, Chennai to the Family Court, Coimbatore.

2. Though the wife is shown to be a resident of Chidambaram, it is stated that she is pursuing her post graduation at Karunya Institute of Technology and Science, karunya Nagar, Coimbatore. The fact that she is pursuing her education is not denied by the husband.

3. The learned counsel for the husband would further contend that he is employed in a private firm and if the proceedings are transferred to the Family Court, Coimbatore, it will be very difficult for him to attend every hearing in person. It is also stated that a maintenance case is pending before the Family Court.

Considering the convenience of the wife as well as the husband, the proceedings in IDOP No.701 of 2021 are withdrawn from the file of the V Additional Family Court, Chennai and transferred to the Family Court, Coimbatore. The personal appearance of the husband is dispensed with, unless it is absolutely essential and he is permitted to appear through counsel. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
