Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to number the application dated 30.05.2022 filed under Section 63(b) of HR&CE Act pending on the file of the second respondent. The petitioner claims that he is the hereditary trustee of the Arulmigu Pattalamman Temple is situated in Odhikuppam, Chinnamattarapalli, Bargur Taluk, Krishangiri District.

2. The petitioner made an application dated 30.05.2022 before the second respondent seeking to appoint him as hereditary trustee. The said application is pending for the past 7 months. He made several representations before the second respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate(HR&CE) appearing for the respondents has stated that the application has received however for want of certain defects it is yet to be numbered.

4. In view of the limited scope, the second respondent is directed to consider the application dated 30.05.2022 on its merits and pass appropriate orders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
