ORDER
The petitioner has come up with this writ petition to direct the first respondent to provide electricity service connection to his property bearing No.87, S.F.189, 6th Street, REV Nagar, Rakiyapalayam layout, Nallur, Tiruppur Taluk, pursuant to his application dated 20.09.2017 within a time frame to be prescribed by this Court.
2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the aforesaid property belonging to the temple. He submitted an application dated 20.09.2017 to the first respondent, seeking electricity service connection to the aforesaid property, which was not considered by the first respondent, till date. Hence, this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel for the first respondent fairly submitted that the first respondent would consider the petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, for which, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent has no serious objection. 4.Considering the limited nature of the relief sought in this writ
petition and taking note of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 20.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
