Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the panel for promotion to the post of Accounts Supervisor vide CE/P/ Memo No.012575/ 155/G29/ 292/ 2012-1 dated 28.5.2013 in the appropriate place and consequentially promote the petitioner as Accounts Supervisor (Accounts) on bar with his immediate junior on basis of the recommendation of the 3rd respondent vide Lr.No.05800/264/ Adm.1 2013-1 dated 9.4.2013. ORDER

The writ petition was filed by the petitioner, to direct the 2nd respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the panel for promotion to the post of Accounts Supervisor vide CE/P/ Memo No.012575/ 155/G29/ 292/ 2012-1 dated 28.5.2013 in the appropriate place and consequentially promote the petitioner as Accounts Supervisor (Accounts) on bar with his immediate junior on basis of the recommendation of the 3rd respondent vide Lr.No.005800/264/ Adm.1 2013-1 dated 9.4.2013.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition has become infructuous. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
