ORDER
The Impugned Order viz Detention Order No. Ref.HITS/Regr./DL/20252026 dated 11.12.2025 passed by the respondent, is put under challenge in the present Writ Petition. Consequently, the petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondent to permit him to attend the regular class and write the VI Semester examination.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner, who is pursuing B.Tech III year in the respondent University, was placed under suspension from 25.09.2025 due to involvement in a case registered in Cr.No.341 of 2025 dated 12.09.2025, however the dispute between the parties pertaining to the said case was amicably settled and no case was pending as against the petitioner herein now. However, the respondent has passed the impugned detention order on11.12.2025. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition.
4. On the earlier occasion i.e., on 24.03.2026, when the case came before this Court, it has directed the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the
respondent and further directed the respondent to consider the same and posted the case "for reporting compliance" today.

It is now brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the respondent that the petitioner has insufficient attendance to participate in the VI Semester Examination and therefore, he was instructed to make a representation to the respondent to continue his studies from June 2026 onwards and to conclude the course smoothly. She further submitted that upon submission of the said representation by the petitioner, the same will be considered by the respondent, in accordance with law.
6. In response, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already paid the fees for the V and VI semester courses and the same shall be considered by the respondent.
7. On hearing the facts of the case, it is pertinent to note that the petitioner lacks attendance to participate in the VI Semester examination. This Court directs the petitioner to make a representation to the respondent in order to continue his studies from June 2026 onwards and to conclude the course smoothly and also to permit him to write the arrears of the V and VI semester examinations by considering the payment already paid by him for the semester courses, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order and on receipt of the same, the respondent shall pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks therefrom.
8. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the Writ Petition stands disposed of, with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
