Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to measure the petitioner property situated at Plot No.35A Padmavathy Nagar, Mangadu Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, the said property measuring an extent of 600 sq.ft vacant land comprised in S.No.88/3 and fix the boundaries.

Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to measure and fix the boundaries for the petitioner's property situated at Plot No.35A Padmavathy Nagar, Mangadu Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, measuring to an extent of 600 sq.ft vacant land comprised in S.No.88/3, based on his applications dated 09.03.2015 & 07.10.2016.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said applications have not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent to consider the applications of the petitioner dated 09.03.2015 & 07.10.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
