The husband of the writ petitioner was employed as a conductor and died while he was in service on 13.10.2012. Applications seeking compassionate appointment were filed by the writ petitioner on 11.06.2015 & 11.06.2016, the same were kept pending without passing any orders by the respondent.

In this view of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the applications submitted by the writ petitioner on 11.06.2015 & 11.06.2016, seeking compassionate appointment on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
