ORDER

Though this Court has already passed an order on 06.03.2023, today the matter is listed under the caption 'for being mentioned'.

2. At the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the earlier order passed by this Court dated 06.03.2023 is hereby recalled and the following order is passed:-

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner seeks for issuance patta for the lands which are classified as Natham Poramboke.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that for the purpose of consideration of issuance of patta of Natham Poramboke lands, a manual application has to be made.

5. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already made an application on 13.01.2023. 2/4

6. In the light of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 13.01.2023 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with the procedure contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, as well as the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Rules and take a final decision, after giving notice to the petitioner, as well as all the other persons who may be interested in the title/possession of the subject property, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
