This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide protection to life and safety of the petitioner as also her three school going children to live peacefully at Korakkai Village, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, in accordance with law.

2. Heard Mr.M.Velmurugan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side], appearing on behalf of respondents 1 & 2.

3. Learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] appearing for respondents 1 & 2 submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2024 at the earliest.

4. In view of the submission made by learned Government Advocate [Crl.side], this petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 2/4

24.02.2024 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
