Perusal of the Criminal Original Petition to quash the FIR in Crime No.736 of 2023 on the file of the 1st respondent (Inspector of Police, T-12, Poonamallee Police station, Avadi District ) and the facts narrated in the petition does not synchronize particularly, in paragraph 4, it is stated that Crime No.2090 of 2021 dated 07.12.2021, pending on the file of T6, Avadi. same has to be quashed referring the counter complaint in Crime No.2089 of 2021. Whereas, the present petition is filed to quash the Crime No.736 of 2023 dated 28.11.2023 for offence under Sections 294(b), 384 & 506(ii) IPC, alleging that this complaint was to counter blast the complaint given by the petitioner before the Avadi police pending in Crime No.2089 of 2021.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the case pending before Avadi Police Station in Crime No.2089 of 2021 and the counter complaint in Crime No.2090 of 2021 nothing to do in the present pending case investigated by the Poonamallee police in Crime No.736 of 2023. It is a case of threat posed to one Thennarasu over phone for extorting money on 17.10.2023 and subsequently physical attack with iron rod demanding Rs.10,000/-. 4.

Considering the nature of the allegations made against this 2/4

petitioner, this Court finds that it is not a case to interfere. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
