The matter is placed before this Court on the letter dated 21.09.2023 received from the Court below, seeking extension of time to complete the proceedings in Spl.C.C.No.2 of 2008 on the file of the learned Special Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dharmapuri.

2. It is seen that this Court, while disposing the revision cases in Crl.R.C.Nos.402 & 414 of 2023 on 03.03.2023 had directed the learned Special Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dharmapuri to complete the trial in Spl.C.C.No.2 of 2008 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of that order. Now, the learned Special Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dharmapuri, had sent a letter dated 21.09.2023 sought for extension of four months to complete the trial. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. Considering the reasons and the request made by the learned Special Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, this Court feels it appropriate to extend the time by four months and accordingly, it is extended by four months from today.

01.11.2023 Note to office:- The Special Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dharmapuri, may be apprised of the extension of time forthwith.
