This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to forbear the 2nd respondent from allotting new Local Cable TV Operator in existing Local Cable TV Operator area and allow them to provide Digital Addressable System Signal to their customers.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that now the Local Cable TV Operations have been replaced by Digital Signals and hence, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this writ petition is closed as no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. No costs.
