O R D E R

This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to conduct proper enquiry and register the criminal case against the respondents 5 to 7.

The case of the petitioner is that on 07.12.2024, she was assaulted by the respondents 5 to 7; hence, she had given a complaint to the respondent police; since no action has been taken, she has approached this Court. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents one to four submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner in respect of incident on 07.12.2024, a case in Crime No.88 of 2025 has been registered by the respondent police for the offences under Section 296(b), 115(2), 351(2), 329(3), 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 and 4 of the Tamil Nadu 2/4

Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2023, and the investigation has been completed and the final report has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate -I, Virudhachalam and taken on file in C.C.No.1067 of 2025. 4.

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. 19.02.2026 dsn To 1.
