O R D E R

(This case has been heard through video conference) Earlier, this Court by an order dated 05.11.2020 in W.P.No.15607 of 2020 directed the third respondent therein to immediately take a decision on

the pending document Nos.22 and 23 of 2020, dated 13.05.2020 and 20.05.2020 respectively and either register the documents, if it is otherwise in order or pass an order under Section 71 of the Registration Act within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Since the order was not complied with within a stipulated period, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondent would submit that, the respondent had passed an order on 23.04.2021, refusing to register the documents. Hence, this Contempt Petition may be closed.

3. Recording the above submission, the order passed by this Court is duly complied with, and no further adjudication is required. Accordingly, this Contempt Petitions stands closed. However, if the petitioners have any grievance over the same, it is open to them to challenge the same in the manner known to law, if they are so advised.
