ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 22.1.2014 in W.P.No.1439 of 2014, directed the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the respondent herein within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of that order and on receipt of the same, the respondent herein was directed to consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ law, within a period of four weeks thereafter. Though the

petitioner has submitted a representation as directed by this Court, the respondent has not chosen to pass orders within the specified time. Hence, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation submitted by the petitioner was considered and rejected by the respondent by order dated 18.8.2014. He has also produced a copy of the said order dated 18.8.2014.

3. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and the contempt petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the order passed by the respondent, he is at liberty to challenge the same in a manner known to law, if he is so advised.
