The petitioners who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 12.01.2024 for the offence registered under Section 25(1A) of Arms Act, in Crime No.32 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police, seek bail.

2.It is stated that the respondent were in duty at Combined Courts, Tiruvarur and they saw an Innova car bearing registration No.TN 21 BZ 0378 in which, the petitioners and other accused were travelling and coming into the Court campus and coming out of the Court campus in a rash manner. The car was intercepted and two aruvals were recovered. A confession was given that the accused wanted to murder another accused who was to be brought to the Court that date.

3.Taking into consideration the seriousness of the offence and the antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. 4.Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 29.02.2024 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
