O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the first respondent to approve the recommendation of the second respondent dated 28.07.2011.

The petitioner was appointed as Karunai Illam Warden under the third respondent. He was appointed on daily wage basis by order dated 01.03.1999. Though the post of Warden is approved by the first respondent, the petitioner was not placed on regular scale of pay. Thereafter, the third respondent by the proceedings dated 11.01.2001, forwarded the proposal for his absorption in the post of Karunai Illam Warden on regular time scale. Thereafter, the second respondent also had sent a proposal to the first respondent for his permanent absorption. However, while pending consideration of the proposal sent by the second 2/4

respondent, the petitioner attained age of superannuation. 3.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the first respondent is directed to consider the request made by the petitioner and pass orders after considering the proposal sent by the second respondent dated 28.07.2011 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
