Crl.M.P.No.4112 of 2021 in Crl.OP.No.Crl.OP.No.902 of 2020 Crl.M.P.No.4112 of 2021 in Crl.OP.No.Crl.OP.No.902 of 2020 N.SESHASAYEE.J., This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner, Vide order dated 20.01.2020 in Crl.O.P.No.902 of 2020, directing the petitioner to appear before the learned CCB and CBCID Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, daily at 10.30 a.m.,

2. The learned Public Prosecutor informs the Court that the condition imposed by this Court has not been complied even for a day.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to COVID-19 lockdown for considerable period, the petitioner could not appear before the Court. And secondly, he himself was afflicted of Corona virus.

4. This Court chooses to consider the case sympathetically without probing further into the truth of the petitioner's statement, since it is there for everyone to see that the Corona Pandemic has upturned the country and there have been lock down both in 2020 and 2021. Accordingly, the condition imposed on the petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner is now directed to appear before the CCB and CBCID Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, once in a month, until further orders. He is informed that in case, he could not appear due to Corona lockdown or whatever reasonable reasons, he is required to come out with an application forthwith before this Court.
