The order passed by the District Revenue Officer in Proceedings dated 12.08.2012 stating that the sale effected in respect of the subject property is in violation of the Trust Act. The District Revenue Officer further passed an order stating that the entries are to be changed and Patta proceedings are to be initiated after conducting an enquiry by the Tahsildar under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act,1983.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader has brought to the notice of this Court that an appeal has been provided, if the petitioner is aggrieved from and out of the order passed by the District Revenue Officer.

3. The Writ Petition was instituted in the year 2012 and the matter is pending for the past about 11 years for obtaining an interim order in a Writ Petition. The petitioner cannot seek unnecessary adjournments. The Writ Petition was earlier listed on two occasions before this Court on 28.08.2023 and 1/3

11.09.2023. At the request of the petitioner, again it is posted today for final hearing. Therefore, the petitioner is not entitled for the interim order and consequently, the interim order granted by this Court on 05.12.2012 in M.P.No.3 of 2012 stands vacated. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions in M.P.Nos.2 and 3 of 2012 stand dismissed.
