ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner herein is the 1st accused in a case registered by the respondent in Crime No.26 of 2022 for the alleged offences under Sections 6(4), 6(2), (3) TNSC (RDCS) Order 1982, 7(1)(a)(ii) EC Act.

2. The petitioner herein, who is the in-charge of three ration shops, has collected PDS rice illegally to the tune of 4,050 Kgs and 2700 Kgs PDS wheat and clandestinely transported it to be sold at Bangalore.

3. Taking note of the position of the petitioner and the quantity of the PDS Rice and Wheat recovered, this Court earlier dismissed the bail petition. Now the prosecution states that one of the accomplice is still at large and the investigation is at very crucial stage to ascertain whether the petitioner is involved in any other pending cases of illicit transport of PDS Rice and Wheat. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking note of the said submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for the present.
