The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the second respondent to register the Sale Deed based on his representation dated 29.01.2020.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner seeks to sell a property and get it registered before the second respondent. It is objected by the respondents on the reason that the said property is notified for acquisition for the purpose of Metro Railway. Learned counsel for the respondents produced a communication issued by the Land https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Acquisition Officer, Tondiarpet dated 18.10.2018, informing that the subject matter land is under the land acquisition proceedings for the Metro Railway

4. In view of the above stated facts and circumstances, I do not think that the petitioner is entitled to alienate the property over which the land acquisition proceedings is pending. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs.
