O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 01.02.2013 made in W.P.No.20302 of 2012.

2. When this Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing today, Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, has submitted that, in compliance of the orders of this Court referred to above, the Government has issued a Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.429 dated 30.10.2017, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, regularising the services of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Cont.P.No.858 of 2016 petitioner after he completed 10 years of service as daily wages of course from the original date of his first engagement ie., in the year 2004 and from that date, the salary due also payable to the petitioner, as has been directed by this Court in the aforesaid writ petition, had also been calculated and paid on 10.11.2017 to the extent of Rs.7,60,746/- and also the petitioner, having received the salary due, has acknowledged the same. By relying upon these details, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that in view of the full compliance of the orders of this Court, the Contempt Petition may be closed.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, as nothing survives and in view of the said compliance, no further orders are required to be passed as no further issue is pending to be adjudicated in this Contempt Petition.
