ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to secure the accused in Crime No.2 of 2016 and to deal according to law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that an anticipatory bail application filed by the accused is still pending.

3. In view of the above, no positive direction as prayed for by the petitioner, can be granted. Hence, the criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to expeditiously conduct the investigation and take action in accordance with law.
