(CRIME NO.5 OF 2022) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition in paragraph No. 8(b) of the order dated 07.02.2022 in Crl OP No.2586 of 2022, so as to permit the petitioner to appear before the respondent police as and when required in the matter, and pass such further or other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.ANIL SANDEEP, Advocate for the Petitioner and of MR.LEONARD ARUL JOSEPH SELVAM, Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition in Paragraph No. 8(b) of the order dated 07.02.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.2586 of 2022, so as to permit the petitioner to appear before the respondent police as and when required in the matter.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that after executing the bail bond on 09.03.2022, the petitioner herein has appeared before the respondent Police on 10.03.2022. Thereafter, due to the reason that the petitioner being the handicapped person, he has not appeared before the respondent police from 11.03.2022 onwards. However, now with the help of others he is ready to appear before the respondent police from tomorrow onwards.

4. In view of the above said submission, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent police from 28.03.2022 onwards by way of complying the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2586 of 2022, in which, Anticipatory Bail was granted to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the order dated 07.02.2022 made in Crl.O.P.No.2586 of 2022 is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. from 28.03.2022 onwards, until further orders. All other conditions remain unaltered.
