The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2015, forwarded by the 1st respondent by way of communication dated 07.06.2016 and thereby survey and measure the extent of the property situated at Survey No.83/08 Thiruporur Taluk, Thaiyur Village, Kancheepuram District, bearing patta No.2394. 2.Mr.V.Balamurugane, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the 1st respondent has forwarded the petitioner's representation to the 2nd respondent as early as on 07.06.2016, the 2nd respondent has not considered the same and passed orders so far.

3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law. 4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2015, which was forwarded by the 1st respondent by way of communication dated 07.06.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
