ORDER
The Contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for their willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court on 28.09.2015 in W.P.No.30459 of 2015.
2. This Court passed the above order directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner and pass orders within a period of eight weeks.
3. The grievance of the petitioners was that the terminal benefits due to them were not settled. The learned counsel for the petitioners made a submission that the terminal benefits are settled partially. However, this Court cannot adjudicate the issues on merits in the contempt proceedings. This Court directed the respondents to consider the representation which was considered and some amount of terminal benefits were already settled. Thus, if any other grievance is left over for adjudication, it is open to the petitioner to adjudicate the matter in a manner known to law.
4. With this liberty, the Contempt petition stands closed. 01.07.2022 Index :
