O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2022 and remove the Blocked endorsement made in Patta No.1846, comprised in Punjai Survey No.17/3C2 admeasuring to the extent of 1 acre 3 cents land situated in Kanchi Village, Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents take notice for the official respondents. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition and on the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband namely Sivaraj purchased the property in Survey No.17/3C2, to an extent of 1 acre 3 cents situated in Kanchi Village, Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamali District and other Survey numbered land from one Manigandaram, in pursuant to Sale Deed in registered Document No.1186/2008, on the file of SRO, Kadaladi. Thereafter, the petitioner's husband passed away leaving his family members as legal heirs. Thereafter, in order to avail bank loan the petitioner downloaded the above mentioned Patta No.1846 from the 1st respondent official website, then the petitioner found that the Survey No.17/3C2 has been blocked, without any notice to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the 4th respondent on 25.02.2022 for removal of blocked endorsement. However, till date no orders have been passed. Hence, this writ petition is filed with the above said prayer.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2022, and pass orders within a period that may be fixed by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the official respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2022, will be considered by the 4th respondent, within a particular time that may be fixed by this Court.

6. This Court without going into the merits of the case, directed the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2022, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of

four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
