ORDER
Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, the learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of respondents. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of Writ, in the nature of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation, dated 21.01.2015, and to rectify the anamolies pointed out in the representation and to fix the pay scale of petitioners, as per the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission.

At the threshold, the learned counsel appearing for petitioners has submitted that the issue involved in this Petition is no longer res integra, as this Court, in Writ Petition No.452 of 2015, filed by persons, who were similarly placed like the petitioners herein, was pleased to dispose of the said Writ Petition, by directing the first respondent/Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department, Fort St. George, Chennai, to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners therein on merits and as per law, in the light of the recommendation made by VI Pay Commission, within a period of three months. The learned counsel submitted that the said order is also annexed at Page No.23 of typedset of papers for reference of this Court. The learned counsel, therefore, submitted that similar direction may be issued in this Writ Petition as well.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader for respondents and this Court also perused the order, dated 18.02.2015, passed in W.P.No.452 of 2015, relied upon by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

In view of the order, dated 18.02.2015, passed in W.P.No.452 of 2015, the present Writ Petition is also disposed of, on the same line, viz., directing the first respondent herein to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners on merits and as per law, in the light of the recommendation made by VI Pay
Commission, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
