ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondent to disburse the Earned Leave Surrender amount of Rs.24,176/- together with interest at 9% per annum. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the petitioner had joined the respondent Corporation on 19.10.1984 as Conductor and retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.09.2013. The petitioner was serving as Special Grade Conductor. It had been stated that there has been a delay in payment of earned leave surrender amount of Rs.24,176/-. In this connection, the petitioner had given a representation dated 31.01.2025. 3.Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent. 4.A direction is issued to the respondent to examine the service register of the petitioner and pay the said amount together with interest at

6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement. The entire procedure must be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
