Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take immediate action against the 5th respondent and others who have violated the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Municipality Act, 1920 and the rules made there and the provisions of Article 243P to 243ZG of the Constitution of India on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 18.10.2013 and consequently to declare the opening of the vegetable market of the Avadi Municipality on 18.10.2013 as illegal and remove the inauguration stone in the new vegetable market of the Avadi Municipality.
