Heard Mr. R.Radha Pandian, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.P.Kumaresan, Additional Advocate General appearing for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Petitioner, who had applied for recruitment to the post of Grade-II Police Constable - Grade-II Jail Warder Fireman conducted by the Respondent, has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to re-measure his height as he had been disqualified for not possessing the required height of 170 cm in the relevant rules.

It has been brought to notice that in furtherance to the order passed on 01.03.2023 by the Court, it has been confirmed that the height of the Petitioner 2/4

is 169.5 cm during re-measurement taken through digital device, which does not making him eligible for consideration to the post. 4.

As nothing remains for consideration, the Writ Petition is disposed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 17.03.2023 skr Index: Yes/No Note: Issue order copy by 26.04.2023.
