Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Declaration or any other appropriate Writ or Order or Direction in the nature of a Writ, Declaring the Letter of the 2nd respondent made in SD/MC/002/2021 dated 18.01.2021 as null and void, void-ab-initio and unconstitutional, in so fas as it relates to the bifurcation of Coimbatore Diocese by creating a new Diocese viz., Salem Diocese without following the due procedures and that of ceiling for objections various stake holders and thereby the same suffers due legal sanction from the appropriate authorities and others concerned.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to declare the impugned letter dated 18.01.2021 which was issued by the 2nd respondent insofar as the bifurcation of Coimbatore Diocese by creating a new Diocese.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the issued involved in this Writ Petition is already ceased by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP.Nos.4187 & 4188 of 2022.

3. Recording the above statement, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Hon'ble Apex Court. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
