ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent for wilfully disobeying the order of this Hon'ble Court dated 09.07.2024 in W.P. No. 18168 of 2024.

2. In the order under contempt, this court directed the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation for issuance of patta in respect of the land in Survey Nos. 359/7, 359/11, and 121/F1 of Kosavampalayam Village, in accordance with law.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that, in compliance with the order of this court dated 09.07.2024, the second respondent-Tahsildar has considered the petitioner's representation and passed an order. In that order, it was stated that

since a civil suit in O.S. No. 130 of 2023 is pending before the District Munsif Court, Udumalpet, further action regarding the issuance of patta will be taken based on the outcome of that suit. This decision has also been communicated to the petitioner.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this court finds that the directions of this Court have been complied with. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed, as no further orders are required to be passed.
