Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the 5th Respondent to consider the representation dated 10.112014 sent by the petitioners and direct the 5th respondent to not to change the entries in the revenue records at instance of the respondents 6 & 7 within the time fixed by this Court.

For Petitioner : Mr.K.A.Ravindran for Mr.C.Veeraraghavan For Respondents : Mr.S.Diwakar (R1 to R5) Additional Government Pleader Mr.L.Chandrakumar (R6 and R7)

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 6 and 7.

2. A perusal of records would go to show that an appeal has been filed by the seventh respondent herein. The third respondent has allowed the appeal by cancelling the patta stood in the name of the petitioners. Challenging the same, the petitioners have filed the further appeal before the second respondent. This Court also in and by the order dated in W.P.No.10880 of 2015 has directed the second respondent to dispose of the said appeal within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Now the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the fifth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.11.2014

3. As the appeal is pending consideration of the second respondent, the direction sought for in the present writ petition cannot be granted. Any consequential order, if any to be passed by the fifth respondent would certainly be subject to the order passed by the second respondent.

With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
